Mental Health With Cor: Mental Health Resources

Cor Ochoa, Staff Editor

Hello everyone my name is Corraima (you can call me Cor) and I’m a senior at our school, I wanted to create this article to bring awareness to metal health and support for you all! With everything that we have going on in the world today such as covid-19, the Black Lives Matter movement, online learning, and having to stay home most of our days, we tend to put or mental health aside and focus on trying to help bring change or adapting to this new “world” we live in. I feel that we do this because mental health isn’t talked about as much as it was a year ago. Seeing that a percentage of our students are minorities, I also understand that our parents don’t take metal health seriously, but that’s why I’m here. I will be providing podcasts, videos that discuss specific topics, hotlines, daily journal prompts, and professional help for now. I want to develop more ideas on how to support y’all or help y’all support some one else. Feel free to comment below and share any thoughts you may have! This is the start of our journey, I will try my best to make it one that you’ll always remember. Sending you all lots of love and positive vibes <3
